Bevis is best known for her role as Ruth Perkins on the soap opera The Young and the Restless (1998–1999). Bevis studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. She has been married to former NFL player Pat McInally since 1984, and they have one child together.
