In 2010, she competed in the third season of NXT, finishing as runner-up, and made her main roster debut in January 2012 as part of The Funkadactyls with Cameron. From 2013, she appeared as a main cast member on the reality series Total Divas. In 2017, she won the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship at Elimination Chamber, becoming the first African-American woman to hold the title. She married fellow professional wrestler Jacob Fatu in 2014.
