Aunque me vaya lejos

“Aunque me vaya lejos” (2020 Even if I go far) is a short film that explores the Venezuelan migration crisis and shares the stories of Venezuelan immigrants refugees and ‘caminantes’ (walkers) in their own voices. The stories told are visually reflected through projections of images and videos of Venezuela and Colombia (from newsreels and collaborators) and of Glasgow (filmed by director) layered and combined with choreographed movement in silhouette.
