The day after their 15th anniversary a couple Michael and Janet are preparing for a meal with guests: long time friends Muriel and Brian. For years the 4 have come together weekly for a quiet Sunday afternoon meal. The dynamics of the meal change when the 2 couples are joined by an unexpected guest Brian's young female employee Erin. Over the course of the afternoon the 5 diners delve into the conversationally taboo subjects of: religion politics and sex. As the meal progresses long hidden secrets are revealed that result in hard truths that must be faced in what will be the group's final gathering.
